The Crimson Court: getting an impulse buy painted 1

Having picked up the Darkest Dungeon supplement The Crimson Court a few weeks back, I have manged to get some of the minis painted! The set has an 18th Century/Versailles vibe to it, representing a decadent court mutating into increasingly bizarre insectoid-like monsters.

They are large figures, more on the 32mm "Heroic" scale, so much bigger than standard 28mm. But after all they have mutated, so maybe size was also effected in the process.

First up, the Sycophants, large insect thingy's (remind me a bit of old-style D&D stirges).

Next a couple of servants, a Gatekeeper (You're name's not on the list!) and a Manservant. I'm thinking that the later might have some sort of area effect, choking fumes?

Some characters have two versions, presumably representing different stages of mutation. I'll probably use them as different beasties altogether! This is the two versions of the Courtesan.

And the two versions of the Esquire.

A slightly bigger beastie, the Chevalier.

To finish off this batch, all three of the more humanoid Esquires. I'm not sure this is quite what Alexandre Dumas had in mind!

Of course the big question is what to do with these once I've painted them. I do have a few idea, I do have a few ideas, Use some to create warbands for Song of Blades and Heroes or Moonstone. Terrorising the street and canals of Venice with Wolsung or Fear and Faith. Once the whole set is painted, perhaps the basis for an entire campaign using Sellswords and Spellslingers.
